About
Being a navy brat, I’ve traveled most of my young life. We finally settled in Texas but traveling was still in my blood. I was part of my church’s youth choir and rode the rides in Disneyland, walk through wheat fields in Kansas and ate lunch in an old mining town. My traveling feet didn’t stop once I entered college. I took a mission trip to Canada and had a snow ball fight next to the frozen shores of Lake Louise. Later, I would join a traveling touring theatre company. Again, I was off to see new things and meet interesting people. The most eye- opening tour was in Japan and Korea. I remember traveling on a ferry using pictures to communicate with a Japanese student about my home. Recently, I was married. So, my traveling shoes are a little more close to home. However, my love of adventure hasn’t changed. So, join me as I explore Atlanta, Georgia and what ever else my feet can take me. Let’s expand our knowledge and have fun as we look beyond our front porch.
